WELCOME TO THE FLORIDA ASSOCIATION OF MUSEUM’S
CHILDREN’S MUSEUM SECTION!

Children’s museums are unique places of learning and play where childhood is respected, nurtured and celebrated! The core purpose of the FAM Children’s Museum’s Section is to represent and advocate for its member institutions in order to maximize the resources, influence and expertise of Florida children’s museums. Membership includes children’s museum’s – child-centered institutions, collections-based or non-collections-based, dedicated to serving young visitors through a variety of hands-on, interactive exhibits and programs - and those members that are in the planning phase of an emerging Florida children’s museum.

Discussion Group
The discussion group is available for section members to post information, ask questions, search for professionals near you, search for traveling exhibits, discuss collaborative grants, legislative news and more. Just post a message for the group and wait for answers. Please note, this feature needs you to use it in order for it to work, so let us know what you need or think.
