This is a very unique position, covering the maintenance of our interactive-play areas
(exhibits) and rotating gallery exhibit of the Schoolhouse Children’s Museum & Learning
Center.
The exhibit coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the play
areas, updating and adding signage, recommending changes or updates to the
permanent exhibit areas, and recommending and assisting in the implementation of a
small gallery featuring a rotating exhibit.
This is a P/T 8 hr/week position. The Exhibit Coordinator will work on Monday’s update,
modify or repair exhibit areas.
Qualifications
• Prior Museum exhibition experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience in exhibit design preferred.
• Experience in desktop publishing programs preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented and organized, and be able to work independently.
• Knowledge and interest in arts and culture and youth education desirable
Compensation
• Hourly wage dependent on experience
