The Board of the Mel Fisher Maritime Heritage Society, a museum of maritime colonial history, is seeking an Executive Director. This not-for-profit, accredited museum owns a 98-year-old building housing permanent and temporary exhibition galleries, gift shop, education dept., artifact storage, conservation laboratory, administrative offices and library.
The MFMHS is searching for a passionate ambassador capable of enriching and diversifying the collection; continuing our fine educational programs; accelerating the much-needed building restoration; continue creating onsite and traveling exhibitions; expand the endowment; continue to secure state and federal grants; expand our local, state and national reputation; and develop additional funding sources.
